"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."
We serve because we want to bring glory and praise to God. The tech team ministry is very important to the church body. Without sound technicians, people would not be able to hear the Word preached or the music to sing unto God. Without graphics operators, people would not be able to see the words of worship or sermon enhancements as easily. Without video operators, people who are unable to attend the service or who want to watch a service again would not have that option to spiritually grow. Without lighting operators, focus could not be as easily given to each part of a worship service and the camera picture would lose quality. Beyond that, we strive to do our best because we are serving God and want to minimize distractions to people worshipping.
